At First Baptist Gowensville, we desire to minister to the entire family through activities and ministries for our children and for our adults. We believe you will discover that our church is a loving, welcoming church family that wants to get to know you. We hope this site will help you get a glimpse of who we are, and we would be honored if you would join us this Sunday for worship. Our services are 8:30am and 11:00am. God bless you and thank you for taking a moment to discover FBC Gowensville.
We want to invite you to join us for one of our three weekly worship services at 8:30am, 11am, and 7pm. Our worship services are a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise choruses. At 11am our adult choir, led by our Minister of Music Kevin Rodgers, leads us in worship.
Our worship space includes a newly renovated sound and projection system. Our projection system enhances our worship time by providing the lyrics to all songs overhead as well as sermon notes and Bible passages during the message time. We believe this enables everyone to worship freely and easily follow along with the morning's message.
Join us this week. Our greeters will welcome you and help you find your way around our church buildings. We believe you will find our church family to be a warm and welcoming body of believers. We hope to see you soon!
Kevin Rodgers, our Minister of Music, would like to invite you to consider joining the choir ministry. If you have a love for singing and praising the Lord, then there is a space reserved for you. Choir rehearsals take place each Sunday evening at 5:30pm in the Sanctuary.
Higher Vision is our Interpretative Movement Team featured in special services. Their purpose is to lead us in worship through interpretative movement and drama set to contemporary Christian songs. Their ministry brings songs you may have heard many times to life in new ways as you experience the songs through hearing and seeing its message.
This is a common question we are asked when we visit with individuals in the community. We believe that a worship service is your opportunity to come and worship the Lord without being concerned about your attire. Most of our church family wear casual attire to dress casual. You will find some men in full suits while others are comfortable in khakis and polos. We simply want you to feel welcome to join us for worship.
